VOLUME 11 – NUMBER 489

Ashton playing BYU intramural game

Getting back into the swing of things was good this week, after taking a week off in Disneyland. We had an intramural game this Tuesday, which we won! Our team doesn’t really know how to play together, but luckily the other team only had 4 that we were able to pretty easily win to get a chance to figure each other out more. This is my first time actually playing on a team and it is super exciting to have a chance to do a bit more than just pick-up games.

Other than that school is going great right now and I’m just trying to make sure I still stay on top of it and don’t get too behind not having a full semester.

This week was really fun. After we got back from Cali and we got straight back into school. It was kind of hard at first, because school is hard, but I actually (sometimes) enjoy it.

I have been trying to work on getting my classes caught up, because they got behind from the trip. I have mainly been working on Spanish and History. I should probably work on other classes but those are pretty easy classes to work on so why not.

We've started to play Stardew Valley again. I don't really like Stardew Valley, but on occasions, I like to play it with Dad. I like having the family together, and having a fun time, even though Dad tends to play it for 5 hours straight! Dad said that he might consider trying out Minecraft, and see if he likes it. I'm excited for that!

This week I worked on making a poster for Braden’s Christmas gift. It is a collage of some of their memories from when they first met and it was so fun putting it all together!

With Cougar at BYU it has been really cool to visit Cougar on campus, and I love being back at BYU with all the fun memories I have there. I’m excited to make a lot more.

Speaking of memories, this week we went over to Cougar’s mom’s house for Come, Follow Me and she showed me some pictures of Cougar when he was young. I really liked one of him cooking with his sister, it made me laugh and I wanted to share it!

This week Me, Gloria, Monte, Isaac, and Kai went to the regional dance and I had a fun time. We met up with Tucker Grappendorf, and he is really fun to be around. He kept making all of us laugh. Monte was with his friends. It was an opportunity for us to socialize with friends.

When we came back from Disneyland me, Mom, Dad, Quinn, and Joanna came home early and me Quinn and Joanna played a game with my toys from Disneyland. I had a Jedi transmitter as a light. We did it in the dark, and I had monoculars, so I could use the light to look around but I would have to use the monoculars.

When they other kids came back we started up Stardew Valley, and Dad decided that we would switch the farm over just harvesting fruit and turning it into jams. So we pulled out all the old stuff and put in more fruit fields and jam shacks.

Caleb, Elder Miranda at Joaquin’s baptism

Joaquin got baptized! This week we continued to see a lot of miracles. This next week we're planning on going to the temple Joaquin and his family to do baptisms for the dead! It's gonna be super awesome to do that with Joaquin and Kevin, and their families are going to accompany us well!

The branch is getting stronger, ministering is being taught and hopefully learned and loved! The president invited my companion and I to teach the branch about ministering without a heads up, but it was pretty great, the spirit helped out when we could share some personal experiences. Most of all, it is going to bring a lot of miracles here.

Well, I invite you guys to pray to Heavenly Father and ask Him to share His love with you, and then look to share His love with someone else! I promise you that if you just ask Heavenly Father will show it to you one way or another. I love you guys!

It's so weird, now that Disneyland is over there isn't much to look forward to. Well on second thought, there is something that I can't wait for. It's a video game called Hogwarts Legacy. It's a Harry Potter video game that takes place in the late 1800s, and it looks absolutely incredible.

Lets just say there aren't a whole lot of limits to exploring Hogwarts, and things you can do in the game. You get to customize your character completely, and you can link you game account to your Wizarding World account (Pottermore), and have the Hogwarts house that you got when taking the test (we took it with Braden awhile back). All I have to do is wait for April 4th, and I'll be having all the Harry Potter fun that I can!

Well, I've officially moved into my new house and I feel like I'm living in a dream! It is a night and day difference from my last apartment with just a small increase in payment.

Every day I find myself pointing out all the things that are better. Everything from cold filtered water in our fridge to there being no noise above us from rowdy neighbors. It has also been exciting buying new furniture and beginning to decorate with my roommates.

I'm so grateful to have such awesome roommates to share this new space with, and I'm so excited to finally be able to host people. I haven't had the space to be able to do that for so long, and I'm really looking forward to it!
