VOLUME 11 – NUMBER 507
Monte, Hazel, Gloria, and Riley
On Monday, I had my date with Hazel, Riley, and Gloria. Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse was just as good, or even better than the first time I watched it!
There were parts where now that I was not just looking for all the different Spider-Men, I could concentrate on some of the comedy in the movie, and notice how awesome the animation was. There were animation styles that just blew my mind, because of how creative they were.
Afterwards I had a conversation with Hazel about all of the nerdy things that were happening in the movie (she's a huge Spider-Man fan too).
Overall, I think we all had a good time, and can't wait till the next movie comes out because man that ending leaves you wanting more.
Veidi and Isaac working on craft projects
This week, I have took up a new hobby for the Summer. It is called diamond art. It's kind of like a paint by number, but instead of paint, it is little tiny pieces that look like diamonds.
On each picture there are numbers and signs, that relate to numbers, and then you have to place the selected diamonds on the right ones, until you finish the whole thing.
I did two parrots for my first one, and it was pretty small, and since I really liked it, I decided to take on a really big one that cost thirty dollars. It is like two, by three feet, and it has been really fun and enjoyable.

Me and Gloria went to an overnighter girls camp. we did kayaking we went to the aquarium. We had to figure out how to setup the tent and we had a devotional where we all had to share a scripture and what it meant to us.
After we had diner and talked got ready for bed and watched the live action Jungle Book movie, and it was really funny.
When we got home I started to work on my paint by number and I really enjoy doing that. I had a fun week.

This week all my sisters came into town and it was the first time my whole family has been together in a year! It was such a fun and busy week.
We had our family pictures taken by the same photographer who took Braden’s and my wedding pictures. It was fun to see her again after our family has grown. The pictures were taken in the Ogden Canyon, so it was a bit of a drive. But the scenery was beautiful so it was worth it!
Another day, we all went up American Fork Canyon and made tin foil dinners and roasted marshmallows. I went up that canyon all the time growing up, so it was fun to be there with Braden and my girls!
The week flew by and it was hard to say goodbye to my sisters when they had to leave. I’m just super grateful that we are all close and that we always have a good time when we are together.
Braden, Charlie, Ellie, and Brooke
This week I went on a double date with Monte and Hazel, and I went with Riley. We went to the movies and watched Spider-man: Across the Spider Verse.
Before we went to the movies we went to Walmart and got snacks to sneak in to the theaters. We really enjoyed the movie but I was upset about the ending with a cliffhanger. After the movie was over Dad picked us up and took everyone home.
We also went to a community activity and I had fun because there was animals there that you can pet my favorite was the pony.
Veidi and I also had a overnighter with the young women in our ward. We went to the Loveland Living Planet Aquarium, and I enjoyed doing that.
Then we went to Daybreak and went canoeing. I was scared of falling in the water. After that, we went to Leatherby’s for some ice cream. Then we went to Susana's house and set up the tent and had dinner. We slept in the backyard.

Normally at the MTC we have an annual kickball tournament, but this year we changed it to a field day. We still had some kickball, but we also had a lot of other activities too. Some of us supervisors went up early to help set it all up and I was in charge of running the kickball games throughout the the evening.
At one point in the evening I ran into Sara Anderson who apparently had just started working at the MTC that day! Sara is someone who was in our ward growing up and so it was really fun to connect with her again.
Children having healthy picnic lunch
London and I actually saw her while she was on a date at the movies a little while back and London and I had a good laugh about it because we do a lot together, and there we were together at the movies, and then here is everyone else in Provo always going on dates, so it was kind of a funny interaction.
One other thing this week that has been pretty fun is keeping up with the NBA finals going on. Both teams right now that are playing weren't the most popular teams going into the playoffs, so it has been fun to see some unexpected teams shine through!
It makes me really excited for when the Jazz will be good again, because going to games is always such a highlight.
Gloria at family read-a-thon
I’ve had lots of dental problems throughout my life, it’s very common in my family. This week I went to the dentist for the first time in a few years and had to get some cavities filled.
I guess I’ll use this opportunity to formally recommit to flossing my teeth everyday, and brushing after every meal.
Kai at family read-a-thon
I done love readin’! its one of my favorite hobbies. The reason why I brought up this topic in the first place is because we had a read-a-thon this week!
I've probably explained it before, but just in case I haven't, here goes. The people at home grab a book they are currently reading, hop on the couch, and snack while we read. Isn't it amazing!
Currently I'm reading Heroes of Olympus for the third time. It’s such an amazing book series, and its the sequel to Percy Jackson and the Olympians.
Children at foster care event
So we went to Moms work activity, and I went with Quinn and Joanna to the magic show that they were having. It was really cool. Then we went to go and eat some sandwiches. They were pretty good. Next, we did an archery, and we tried to hit small balloons of pyramids.
A couple days later I had to get my teeth pulled out and so it hurt a little bit, but I never felt them pull my teeth, and I got finished a lot earlier then I thought I would.
Then we went to the store and got some soft foods, and then like a day later I felt perfectly fine again!
Caleb with group at the temple
Two weeks ago I went to the temple because someone I taught received her endowment! It was really special and a lot of fun to be with some people from about a year ago.
We went to a funeral and I dedicated the grave site, and then we also helped bury the lady. It was a good service, and hopefully we can help this family some more!
We're teaching this kid named Shaiel. He's about 17. We met him playing basketball about a month ago, and he's planning to be baptized next Sunday! It will be the last Sunday of the transfer. I'm thinking I might stay one more transfer but I don't know for sure.
As a district we went on a really cool hike with a lot of bridges and some waterfalls today, it was a lot of fun.
I love the gospel. I love being at peace and being able to give it my all. I've really been learning and changing so much. I've already been so blessed. Read your scriptures, say your prayers, and serve other people! I love you guys!
